What is the image gallery
The image gallery is where you store, organize, and manage all the visual and file assets that support your story. With new folder options and file uploads, it’s easier than ever to keep everything neat and accessible in one place.
How do I open the image gallery?
You can open the image gallery from any story element.
Click the plus sign with the camera
Then click the plus sign again to add an image from your device
You can also search for free stock images directly through Pexels
When using Pexels, type your keyword into the search bar and select from the results.
How to Organize Images for Storytelling?
The gallery supports folders and labels so you can structure your collection the way you like.
Folders: Create separate folders for characters, locations, or other categories
Labels: Add labels to tag images for quick filtering later
Favorites: Mark an image as favorite so it appears on the front menu
To rename or categorize an image:
Click the three dots on the image
Choose to rename, add labels, or mark as favorite
How do I upload files?
The gallery is no longer just for images. You can upload any relevant file:
Reference documents
Character sketches
Research notes
Once uploaded, you can link these files directly to story elements. That means your resources are always at hand while you write or plan.

When you upload an image or download one from Pexels, you can now name it and add a label right away. No more going back later to organize unnamed files, you can keep everything tidy from the moment you add it.

A search bar to quickly locate images or files by name

Use short, clear names when renaming files so you can search them easily
Labels work best when consistent, for example: “protagonist,” “villain,” “map”
