This is your chance to immortalize your character as the official family tree example in the Fortelling 5.0 update.
Who is Tely?
Tely is a Friendly Firesalamander and the official mascot of Fortelling. He likes to help creators spark their fire which can burn through any writers block. Some rumors say that he comes from a place called Fortellia. Ready to discover his whole family?
Get the exposure you deserve
Do you like to draw? Let’s build the family tree tool together. Your OC could be chosen to be displayed as the official example in the Fortelling 5.0 update. Your art will be viewed by thousands of novelists and creators like you.
How to Enter the OC Drawing challenge?
Step 1: Create your OC
Open Fortelling: Join the shared project with code "uKSDJ-76327".
Create a fictional relative for Tely in the Characters section. For example, you might design a cousin who loves alchemy.
Include your artist signature directly on your OC drawing and upload it on the app.
Step 2: Share your creation
Post your OC on Instagram, Tumblr, or Pinterest. Use the required caption: "[OC Name] is ready for the upcoming family tree feature in Fortelling 5.0!"

Step 3: Confirm your creation
Drop your character link in our Discord channel #Tely_Family_Challange so we can track your entry. Provide at least 1 direct link to your social post.

Will there be prices?
Two winners will be selected for the drawing challenge
Each winner receives six months of Fortelling Pro
If a winner is already a Pro member, they will receive $100 instead
All participants whose art is chosen to be used for the family tree will receive one month of Fortelling Pro at the end of the challenge

The Rules
We welcome creators of every skill level. Whether this is your 1st time drawing or your daily routine, we want to see your creativity.
Max 2 characters per person.
No NSFW content.
Keep it PG. Avoid guns, blood, or satanic symbolism.
AI generated art is not eligible and will be deleted by the admin.
Do not edit other participants' OCs in the shared project.
The competition starts on February 17th. You can join the project via this code "uKSDJ-76327" today to get a head start. We will announce the winners on February 22th. Success!!
How do I join the collaborative project from this Challenge?
In your project screen click on the icon that contains a human with a plus sign and insert this code "uKSDJ-76327". This will sent an invite and you will have to wait for the admin to add you.
Does the OC has to be a salamander?
Your OC doesn’t have to be a salamander, but it does have to be connected in the family tree. Maybe a shapeshifter? Your imagination is the limit.
Where will be the winner announced?
The winner will be announced on the 22th, live in the Writer’s Café on the Fortelling Discord.
